Hi, Mylotters.
As i was a grade three student, total score of test is 100 scores, when your test result was less than 100 scores, my math teacher punishment ours neck with ruler. for example, i got 95 scores, he would hit five times. :(
I don't approve of his action.

Teachers cannot use violence to punish their students unless the student do not respect teacher. The teacher cannot scold the student as long as he or she want to study and learn from their mistakes. It is our right to defend ourselves if the teacher use violence to punish us.

There are now strict rules against punishing students physically. In my school days there were no such rules and I had received punishments myself.Mostly it is the slaps they give with canes or scales. Some teachers rely on their hands itself to slap.Anyhow,we didn't take them seriously on those days. But I haven't heard of getting punishment for not taking centum marks. How can everybody secure 100 marks?

Hi, srganesh, thanks for your response.
I think some ways to punishing students in order to let students study hard, but my teacher's way is absurd, so i don't approve him.

I ever heard that method in my country in which the teacher punish his/her students with violence. but it was long long ago, now it's forbidden even the teacher could be got to the prison b'coz of this violence. That's a conventional method that may triggers the students to be traumatic n break their feeling n their mind. It affects negative impacts, i think.

Now our country's education system is perfect, so this phenomenon is almost none.
