Great Hockey Night For All of Us!!!

When has this happened? Everybody's team won last night!! This is such a great time of the hockey season. Everyone is fighting for a spot! Staal really showed everyone. Got a hattrick on his first night playing as our captain. I wish we had had that effort earlier in the season. I guess injury prevented some of that. I will take the win though and enjoy the moment. Good to see our boys a little pumped. I guess there is rumor that we are going to trade Ray Whitney. He has lifted his "no trade" clause. I hate to see him go for any reason but I know what the Hurricanes are doing. Since he is a UFA at the end of the season Rutherford will resign him in the summer. He will just be gone for a little while. Gives us a chance to pick up someone. Maybe somebody from Chicago. Congrats to everyone! Really happy to see Detroit get in the top 8. Enjoy the day!!

Like I said in your other discussion..getting there is one thing. We are looking at Homer coming back soon..the rest probably not until the olympics are over..Franzen has other ideas, but they are going to make him wait..He was on skates the other day..I imagined the ice singing at his return. I watched a wings span special the other night that covered the rehab all our brken wings are goig through..sad that they had enough material to fill the whole show. But yes, today we celebrate..I would take Whitney..he would look good in Red.

It was a great night for all of us! I hope the canes get someone from Chicago. They'll be surely dumping players and salaries as I heard rumors that they'll be gunning for Kovalchuk. They seriously mean business. The canucks GM is gunning for David Backes from the Blues.

Wow I saw the score so I knew they won but I didn't know they moved to 8th. Fantastic. And the caps beat the Pens! I must confess that when I came back to the channel and saw that the Pens had scored first, I changed the channel . I really thought the the caps couldn't win over the Pens for some reason. I gues the G-ds just didn't want me to see them win. That's ok by me . I'll stop watchin if that's what it taks.Well at least until the final, lol!
