I have been thinking if a big conch shell would complement the furniture I made. The wood I use for the furniture came from the mountains while the conch however came from the sea. Hmmmm.. let us check it out shall we?

you made the furniture? wow, great talent there.
the shell has a nice contrast to the furniture precisely because of the origins of both materials. perhaps you need to put a very small mat underneath the shell so it wouldn't scratch the surface of your table when somebody moves the shell around. something not easily noticed so that the shell will be the highlight on the table.
but overall it has a nice effect. great job!

Yes. Back in the old times perhaps they make it double the time but I was able to nail it within a week thanks to power tools. Your idea was nice, I was really planning to put a mat, though I just put it there and snap away. I have a lot of furniture collection that I made myself, this is one of them. Have a nice day!
