Have you own a dog before?

Guys I'm just wondering our family each has his or her dogs and also almost all our relatives love dogs. And I found other family weird that they don't have a dog.
I live in a compound and almost 60% of the houses has a dog. So its really loud in here.
I'm just wondering if its common for a family to have a dog or it just happen that I live in an environment where families have dogs.

Where are you living now?
Well, in the community where I live in, there are many dogs owned by other people. But fortunately, they're not that loud. For me, I don't have any pet. I think that's mainly because I don't have time to raise one, to care it, to walk it on the streets.

In the Philippines. Its nice if that the case. But here in our compound if one dog bark all dogs barks and its hard for them to stop. Because the other dog want to be the last dog barking so imagine how long before they stop barking.
And they bark all the time.
If children plays they bark.
If a cat pass by they bark.
If a bike or a motorcycle pass they bark.
And if their owner show up they bark.
..
They bark all the time in here.

Yeah..And some owner don't bother to pick up what their dogs left.
And because we have a compound lots of dog do their thing in your area.
And why many owner act worse than their dogs.

ofcourse i have a puppy but none of my neighbours have.
it just depends on the interest of the person or family.may be for you its because you live in such a environment buddy. but its not going to be weird not having a dog

Thanks. Yeah maybe not. Maybe its depends also what country you live in.
Or if your living in a rural or urban area.
Or what is the purpose of you owing a dog.
Some have a dog because they want to have a guard dog.
Some have a dog as a companion.
Some have a dog for their meat.
Theirs a lot of reason why you have a dog.
And some also just don't want to have a dog.
..
But I think one way or other you have a pet.
I can't imagine a person having no pet even for a single week.
..
When I was in elementary I have cat, chicken, birds, dogs, mouse and fishes.
I love animals.
