Friends, just makes me wonder if a person/member were to win a lottery, or if one were to inherit a lot of money and property, will he/she still continue to be here on mylot and take part in discussions and interacting with all their friends and members here....I feel that it may not be the case, because life is going to change at least during the initial period and may be once the excitement and euphoria seetles down, then one may revert back to ones life as before? What would you do if such a thing happened to you all? will you still be here on mylot?

Yes, I am not on MyLot just for money. I enjoy reading views of peoples from different background, culture, country. I have become habitual of MyLOt, to read others comment about something which is not very common to discuss.

What about when you get a lot of money AjaySingh? Then will you still be here ? thats what I wanted to know. Initially I too came here for money and out of curiosity to see what it was like ....But later once you get used to this place and make friends things are bound to become different...all the best and happy mylotting

I do not think there will be any miracle when I will become rich all of sudden. If at all it happens, I will be part of MyLot always. As you pointed - money was the first objective earlier however its interaction now. Thank You :)

Well as along as I do not depend on what I earn from this forum for my bread and butter I will stick to this. What I earn from here is definitely insignificant before How much I enjoy being here. The moment I lose interest in Mylot I will quit without hesitation. The money I get from this place is not worth o be a deciding factor on that.

My friend,I never won a lottery or inherit lot of money. I'm pleased with my present position. But I'm not a saint. I have desire to have sufficient money. I like to fulfill my wishes. For this I want to earn more money, but in honest way.If I become rich then also I will be in mylot and take part in discussions and continue to interact with my friends.Taking part in mylot is become my hobby. Once my age may not permit me to do all of these things.I don't want to give farewell to my life.

Hi, kiran8, I, like many other myLotters, join myLot because we simply love being here participating in discussions and getting to know new info and friends. To me, writing in myLot is more like a hobby than a money-making venture. So, regardless of whether I win or inherit a huge sum of money, you can rest assure you will still see me hanging around here.

Oh kiran! What does money have to do with mylot?I am welloff in my own right and my logging into mylot would depend not on my finances but the internet connectivity.
THe frequency that I would visit here would depend on the work I have .If I have free time and feel like interacting with friends here or answering some topics I would do it irrespective of anything else. But,, time, degrees in priority of work , connectivity and energy are the deciding factors.

Hi Kiran,First of all let me make it clear that I am not in mylot to make any money, and so inheritance of any sort will never be a factor to keep me away from mylot.Well coming to the second part of your question,if I were to inherit some money or property its true I may not mylot for a few days because I will be busy dealing with my new inheritance and investing/spending it as per my requirement. But I will surely come back to mylot because no amount of money can compensate for the friends circle that I have here in mylot.....

Hi Roseo, thanks a lot for your response...You are right about taking a short break from the net for a few days until the feeling sinks in and you get adjusted to the new situation...As you rightly say money cannot compensate for the friends you make here on mylot - all the best Roseo and have a great evening

Mylot is a best place to meet people and know about good things. Yes, money is also important and it would be more happy if we got through lottery.
I wont leave mylot as its gives lot of fun and knowledge to me, and money too.. I enjoy with my prize amount and spend time in mylot.

I would still be on Mylot too. Even though I would have won a huge ton of money. That would mean less worries for me about my expenses and well being. But I would be looking for something to pass the time so I would continue posting on Mylot to give my advice on stuff and earn a little bit of money for my efforts.

This is a fun community, so even if I have inherited lots of money, I would still be here. I love the interaction especially when people respond to my discussions and as I've always said, the people here are nice. Even if it's just online, the company is really good.

Yes I would! After all I'm doing myLot for two things. 1) Earn money 2) while having fun.
Sharing my opinions and listening to somebody's opinion makes me an open-minded person and improves my critical reasoning skills.

I think realistically there would be that initial period where suddenly having wealth would affect what I did daily, especially the getting use to being rich. But I am positive I would return to myLot quite quickly as I have said before I use myLot as a way of destressing and in some ways escaping the daily routine. So what better way to slip back into normality and being grounded than by getting back on myLot.
The other bonus of being on here is that you are anominous, no one knows your personal situation unless you tell them. So it would be a great way of escaping all the issues which come from suddenly having money, beacuse people will treat you exactly the same as before.

Hi jambi, Thanks a lot for your response.Yes things are bound to change at least to some extent when someone comes into a lot of money, because change is a fact of life and outside circumstances are bound to effect our thinking and actions. But at the end of the day, if one is happy doing something, no matter what happens in our life we would like to continue doing it - all the best and happy mylotting

I would still hang out on mylot no metter how much money I have.I love this site and I use it as a social site.I don't like face book anymore,I'm pretty bored all of a sudden with that one. Here there are so many good discussions.I'll be here unless my computer crashes. So if I'm not on anymore, that's what happened.

Back when I first became member myLot, not just the pay that makes interesting. But the impressions that life was here. I give the topic of discussion and comment on other members. Creating an atmosphere of life, and a lot of new knowledge as well as I can from here.

Hi lazuardy, thanks a lot for your response.I agree that mylot is more than just a money earning site, it is a place where people discuss and share. Some members come with their personal problems and members readily offer their own opinions and views, which I am sure does help in some way or the other ...all the best
