Abortion and the right to suicide

Now the democrats want me to believe that a woman has the right to kill the child growing inside of her because it is her body. OK, then why do they make suicide illegal? If it is my body and I have the right to kill my child why then do I not have the same right to kill myself? If I can do what I want to my body then why can't I kill it?
Just a thought turner for those who believe in abortion but not suicide. Personally I believe different from both Republicans or Democrats.

I would like to side with you on this topic! I don't like abortions, because they are really dangerous for women! They can puncture a uterus and the woman has little time to go to the hospital. Plus, some clinics aren't very clean and they can give a woman infections. They can die from these conditions. In young teens; they don't know how much is too much bleeding and/or they are scared to tell their parents. Some abortion clinics talk young women into getting abortions. They even have funds at some places! They tell them it's just tissue and to get one! They will tell them horror stories of having a baby. Did you know that there is a crooked side, too? Some abortionists will sell older fetuses for research. In some places, it's illegal for late term abortions, but they do it anyway! If a baby is born alive, they don't call 911 for help! I do; however, care about the little baby! A day before the baby is born it's okay, but if you throw that baby in the garbage, then you will get arrested and charged with murder! Go Figure!!!!

I just get so mad! Because even if the baby is the result of a rape. That can be redeemed! The woman can go through with the pregnancy and then put the baby up for adoption. So many infertile couples are waiting for that baby! Or the woman can go through with the pregnancy and decide to keep the baby and raise it as her own (since it is!) and you never know how much joy and happines that child could bring. The pain of being raped will heal over time. And killing the baby is not how you heal this pain. Abortion is the right to kill. What is wrong with this country?

Wow 9 months out of a whole lifetime. That soooo much! Yes lets just kill a human being out of pure selfishness. Yup that makes sense!

I think any woman raped should be given the medicines out there to start their periods before implantation can even happen and then the matter of the raped being forced to make a horrible decision is null and void.

I do not accept abortion personally. Abortion is practically killing a "baby". Why don't they just concentrate on how to prevent unwanted pregnancies than to kill a life that is already there.

I'm a mom and I don't believe in abortion. If they allow mothers to kill their own child, how can we stop people from killing each other. Even if I was raped and got pregnant, I'd keep the baby or at least give him/her for adoption because it's not the baby's fault. I believe abortion should be done ONLY for medical concern like if the baby will harm the mother. There's so many options other than killing an unborn. Just a thought from a mom's point of view.

Touchy subjects for most, as far as i'm concerned abortion is murder, killing yourself is murder and we all (with the exception of murderers) are born preprogramed to know murder is wrong, just a thought!

For those who fail or show signs of trying or being about to try they incarcerate them in sate mental hospitals and make the tax payers pay for it. They watch them day and night and "help" them to over come their issues. If you are already sick and dying they hold you there against your will until you pass from your illness usually in a undignified painful fashion.
