Is There a Singles' Day?

We all know Valentines' Day, a day when couples dress up in identical red clothings and go to the mall to mingle with other couples intent to celebrate the special day of hearts and arrows. But is there a day dedicated for single-by-choice and single-not-by-choice people?
It'd be really awesome to know. If there's not, my friends and I - who are happily living the unattached independent life - would probably just go on greet each other a Happy Singles' Day on Feb. the 14th instead. ^_^

actually there is no singles day and thats very sad to say.keeping valentines day as it is it will be better to make 15th feb singles day.....it will be really great
14th feb valentines day and 15th feb singles day

Hmmm... having Feb. the 15th as Singles' Day is not so bad. You kinda have the right idea, that Feb. 14th should remain Valentines', though I think it'd be good to have Singles' Day as far apart from Valentines' as possible.
(and oh, how ironic would it be for a couple to break up on the 14th and celebrate their new single status on the 15th! XD)
