What is your country best known for?

My country is best known for its peaceful uprising against a tyrant. We call it the EDSA Revolution and it inspired similar uprising in countries ruled with iron fists. ^_^
... Also, we're known for our said tyrant, history's greatest thief as mentioned in the Guinness. -_-"

I think my country is known for it's different internet solutions, like e-bank, e-school, e-government and many others. From the past events I would mention singing revolution that took place there. Once we were under the reign of Soviet Union, our people united and held singing fests to show up protest against the Soviets. Around 200 000 people were singing together and there was kind of a rebel movement launched. Finally, we managed to get independent without dropping a single piece of blood.
