Yes, I always pray before I go to sleep. Tho I will add that I talk to God during the day too. I guess I appreciate many of the little things in life that God has provided and I honor him for them.
We had a super cold night last night so I was trying to build a roaring fire. Tried 2 x with no luck at all. The 2nd time I asked for some help since I really didn't know what I was doing wrong yet I just couldn't seem to get it going. I went out of the room to check on dinner and came back a few minutes later. The fire was blazing and beautiful! So I took a moment to admire it and thank God for his help and the warmth that it brings. It was truly amazing to see it since when I left all I had were a few little embers!!
Do I think God is all around us all the time, YES! When I wake and the sky is beautiful and the sun is shining bright, I take a moment to thank the Good Lord for it.
I guess I think of myself as a spiritual person and I know that God is with me. And I agree completely that I can feel his presence in my life especially when I am faithful and pray and praise him every day. I think you will continue to find that many of the stresses of life are lessened when you have faith to guide you.

So you are praying to ?? Since you said you don't believe in God, what do you believe in? The power of the divine or the universe? I'd be really interested to hear about why you chose to pray and how you are praying if not to God.
Or is it that you are more meditating? Very interesting indeed to learn about other's beliefs and why they believe as they do. I respect every one's beliefs even if they make no sense to me personally, they do to the other and that's what is important. Take care !

Not believing in god doesn't mean i cant pray.I pray to my ancestors, the deceased who left us and whose blessings would always be upon us.

hello there!
yeah, i do pray before going to bed. actually my husband & i are having a devotional prayer every night...we have this specific time when we pray together... thanking our God for all the great things that he have done in our life and for all the opportunities that He's giving us, we also ask for His continuous guidance on us and for the forgiveness of our sins...
but during the day, i am also praying...actually whenever possible i always pray to God and utter even a small prayer. i love talking to Him for it gives me peace within...
and i believe that prayers can make us closer to God and makes us stronger spiritually... and its really powerful.

Most nights before I go to bed I say my prayers. I thank the LORD for HIS son Jesus Christ, I apologize the my transgressions and pray for those in need. It helps me to sleep so much better. I know when I don't pray, I usually don't get a good nights sleep.
Sincerely in Christ,
Leesa C.

Yes I always pray before sleeping while I'm in my bed. Its a time to talk to my creator, asking for his forgiveness for all my short commings, thanking him for all the blessings especially the gift of life, and to ask for his loving watch while I close my eyes to rest for the whole night.

I used to pray at bedtime, but I found it problematic. Like I'd fall asleep during prayers, stay up too late praying, or I'd end up worrying about things I'd prayed about and get insomnia. Now I pray when I wake up and I like that better. It makes me feel empowered for my day and helps me focus on my goals for the day.

Hi sayantan12345.
As a Christian, I am to be praying all the time. One theologian, Evans, said prayer should be like breathing!
Albeit though you are thinking of those times one is focus on prayer as the primary thing they are doing at a given space of time. In that sense, my last session as such is when I am in bed and before I go to sleep. I usually thank God for the bed and the roof over my head. Then I bring, as directed by the Holy Spirit, certain people and places before the Lord in prayer. Currently, each night a pray for Bowe Bergdahl who has been captured by the Taliban.
