Many people wash fruits and vegetables after cutting but some intelligent people cut after properly washing fruits and vegetables.
One hint i'll give that fruits and veg contain a lot amount of water soluble vitamines and minerals.
When do you wash them? Are you among those intelligent people ?

I belong to the group of intelligent person too, hehe.Well, it is proper to wash fruits and vegetables before we consume it. Because we know that everything in this world is contaminated with bacterias, we should clean fruits and veggies in order to eliminate those bacterias that is attached in the skins or cover of the fruit. Also we know that some farmers are using pesticides which they tend to spray it to the fruits.Thats my own view in this topic.

HaHa, I don't know if I'm that intelligent, but yes, I do wash all my fruits and vegetables when I get home. Too many people handle all this stuff when they want to buy it, so I wash them off quickly with dish soap, then rinse completely, and I'm good to go. When I think of everyone who picks up a piece of fruit, looks at it, then puts it back, it's nasty!, yuk, haha.

I wash all my fruits and vegetables before I cut them, before I use them in anyway. I saw this episode on The Dr. Oz show and it showed how customers in stores handle fruits and vegetables. Some of the things I saw was customers sneezing on the vegetables, I saw some of them wetting their fingers with saliva to separate the plastic bags( open them) and then picking over the veggies and fruits before selecting. It even showed one customer up on the fruit with her knees and feet trying to reach the back of the pile. After seeing this I wash even more longer and careful now.
