Did you donate money to help Haiti?

I sent 2 text messages worth 3 euros in total, which is 4.25 dollars. The government will double the money which is basically our money so I donated double anyway. Oh yeah Holland donated 84 ( 120 million dollars) million euro to Haiti. What did other countries do? Probably nothing. -.-

There is a telethon on all the major stations tonight. Rihana, bono, beyonce and more will be performing. I heard a very true quote: "don't assume it's just going to get done." Everyone has to help and do what they can do, what if it were you?

I think that is a very personal question. However, I didn't donate any money. Works slow and I beleive our country is donating enough money with al the different relief funds throughout the country and all the different countries that are donating money, I don't see how their country isn't set! Good luck to them, I pray for the ones that lost their homes and families.

I can't donate something I don't have.I'm having financial problems for myself,how can I help someone else when I can't support myself.A donation isn't forced it's volutary.That's what a donation is.I'm not a rich person,I'm not even average with money.I'm poor.IO feel sorry for them but you can't force poor people to help when they can't and don't have anything themselves,so I disagree that everyone should donate.If someone don't have money they should not feel they have to.

Hey xxhellsxx, First of all, I would like to say that donation should not be "forced" as it is voluntary. Secondely, at my college, the heads are orgainising a day in the form of a fair where the money collected would go to haiti. I'm talking about thousands of students, meaning thousands of euros. Me myself, yes I have donated to haiti, i'm sure everyone would do the same to help people who are in need. I pad about 10 euros and did not regret it.
