I'm planning to move to another country this coming summer, and am trying to sell off stuff such as books (of which I have any number) to make space and earn some money towards the move. I haven't had much luck on Ebay or Amazon, though. Anyone got any ideas about where else I could try and get rid of them? I'm in Germany but would be willing to sell overseas.
Thanks! :-)

Hello, and welcome to MyLot. Why not put a notice in your window, 'Books for Sale,' and have your books together in one place so people can come and browse? In England, I always sold my books at car boot sales. I don't know whether you have them in Germany, but if so, books sell really well.

If you like to read one thing you could try is trading them on bookmooch and then saving your credits and getting new books when you get to where you are going. If you lived in the US I would suggest craigslist, I don't know if there is anything like craigslist other places. Good luck selling you books, too bad you have to part with them.

I don't know where you live, but in my area (italy) there are many little shops who buy used books, often whole stocks of them. The price paid is usually low, but it is better than nothing and is a way to avoid throwing them away. (i consider throwing a book something very wrong... )
To sell books online i don't know other places besides amazon and ebay.. so i am afraid i can't help you with that..
