Should marijuana be legalized?

I know there isn't just one side to this issue but here's my take - Yes, weed should be legal because: 1) Adults have the right to make their own choices about their bodies and the government does not have the right to treat it's citizens like children. 2) Government puts out propaganda type adverts and school classes to scare people away from weed - waste of money because it doesn't scare anyone except little kids and makes people suspicious of the government (If they lie about drugs what else are they lying about?...) 3) It is basically impossible for humans to overdose on weed. 4) Weed is no more damaging to your body than cigarettes or alcohol. 5) Keeping weed illegal causes crime - the same way that alcohol's illegal status during Prohibition led to bootlegging and moonshine. Please give me your reasons fro keeping weed illegal or legalizing it.
