Great Wall Of China

What is the Great Wall Of China? I have heard of it and seen
it on the television and learned about it in school but as I got
older I forget things and this is one of them and it is really bothering
me that I could forget something of this importance. Can someone explain to me what it
is and the meaning of it?

It is a wall that was originally designed as a fortress I think during the Han dynasty. It was built to keep out invaders. The great wall is on my bucket list and something I really want to see before I die.

the great wall of china,one of the greatest wonders of the world,was listed as a world heritage by UNESCO in 1987.just like a gigantic dragon, the great wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands,mountains and palateaus,stretching approximately 8.851.8 kilometers(5.500 miles) from east to west of china.with a history of more than 2000 years,some of the sections are now in ruins or have disappeared.

Great wall was made by a famous king in china who is cruel force his citizen to built the Great wall ,the reason to make great wall is that to protect their country against other country who try to attach him ,
