You are rated 100% in my book, so hmmmp! I haven't checked my own rating for months and pay little attention to that of others. Also I don't reply to your discussions for earnings but out of friendship, so if myLot giveth and then taketh away, oh well, it is like "house money" at the casinos, lol. Glad to hear from you!

i am not sure what is the reason behind, maybe it is true that someone gave you a negative rate. but in my way here at mylot i dont go or dont mind too much about rate. as long as i am not doing anything bad or not offending anyone. when i give my opinion i say it at the end of it is just my opinion. some people are easily get offended here so i always say that is just my opinion. i respect your ranting but take it easy, that is only 1% i bet you can gain that lost in no time at all. smile dont worry be happy.

hi zed! nice of you to drop by again... even just to rant or something. hehehe jk yup, it must have been a few months since i saw a discussion of yours. i'm glad you have one today when i'm doing mylot myself. i've been stuck with a 98 since after my 3rd month in mylot. and well it's been a long time since. i wasn't complaining since i didn't really get active after. except with that one time fluke/error when star ratings of everyone dropped 3-4 notches or so... i was shocked then. but it was sorted back soon enough. but before that, it gave me a jolt... like asking myself, what did i do wrong this time? i remember you also made the same rant. and it was in your discussion i expressed my concern. hehehe perhaps you were not rated negatively. perhaps you were not rated at all. sometimes when we participate to new discussions, many don't make a habit of rating. it speaks true also even for old-timers. and you didn't miss any of my discussions... coz i haven't made any for goodness knows how long. a year ago probably? or more than that. hehehe take care and have a great weekend!

hi zed missed you, hatley here.you have been here as long as I have. some people here just do not read the guidelines and rate neg if they dislike a discussion or disagree with someone, and that is just what mylot admins says not to do. but do not worry over one point,you will get it back when we your friends all rate you positively. I have complained to mylot admins way back when I was deliberately minused from ten to a 5 and they caught the two trolls and kicked them out. so you can complain and they will listen to you. this discussion is great and cannot see any rules that were broken at all.

Hi Zed_k4, I am still wondering about the rating system so I just concentrate on the "hat" above my avatar. I guess as long as that doesn't get decreased, I am happy. So having said that, I will puzzle along with you. I miss the Greek Girl since she seemed to be right on about the rating thing. Maybe she'll happen along. Glad to have you back!

I guess if you don't participate your ratings drop. Mine dropped considerably after a few days away from the computer and I struggle daily to get it back up. I had a one point increase the other day...YAY! Go me!

Hey, hey, hey...... tell me that this is just an excuse to get a discussion up because you had nothing better to talk about. You could have talked about the eclipse of the sun or about the man in the moon but you chose to talk about falling stars. The stars fall here in the summer around the 10th of Augusr and if you happen to see one falling then you are very lucky. If you make a wish on it then it might even come true... So now why were we talking about falling stars in January when it is carnival time and we should be celebrating with dancing and music and parades and belly dancers and....

Sometimes it seems like there is no rhyme nor reason to the rating system. I wouldnt be too discouraged about it. I think we have all been surprised by the rating system at one time or another.

I haven’t started a discussion in ages either due to other commitments and I am working hard to catch up on everyone’s discussions, I got very behind but life wanted my attention elsewhere for a while so be it. The rating thing has often had me stumped and I have no idea why some people would give a – rating if it is not warranted. I almost always rate + unless it is not deserved and that is not very often. There are a lot of mysteries amongst MyLot and some of its members...The site has been running very well lately, Admin has paid close attention to some of our issues and that’s good to see. Anyway, welcome back, looking forward to catching up with you baround the Lot!

Hi zed! I hate the way the rating system works. I always rate + unless someone is just crazy abusive. I think that sometimes our ratings are based on participation. I read up a little on that and that includes time here. I noticed when I was here every other day, my ratings went down too. I also noticed that when I rated all the responses to my discussions that my ratings went up. I thought hmmm too...lol. Take care.

hi zed^^;; don't be upset my friend...there were even worse situation with the stars than you.. i myself had dropped from 94 down to 89 before in one day where in just wrote 2 responses and the discussions weren't much an issue and i just gave a general opinion.. ..then i know one friend here who happened to be blue then now down to yellow star in just a span of 2weeks. her rating had constantly dropping everyday and she knew she hadn't offended anyone, or if ever there was, it could just have been a point or two but it's from 99-84 in her case

Okay, after all that Hmmmmp and the end of all that Hmmmmp, i am sure that you feel better now. You will make it up again. Do not worry about it, you will only get a few exxxxxxxtra grey hair. So do what i do. Go with the flow and try not to drown. That would be a unhappy situation. Happy Mylotting.

Really? Hmm, I hardly notice the ratings anymore, as long as it has the same color.LOL You're right that there is something not right if ratings drop if we didnt even do anything wrong. Inactivity might not mean a rating drop, it could just be stagnant or frozen in place. That's why I kinda get why you needed to rant. It's always good to let our feelings out instead of letting it fester and eat us up inside. Oh well, that's just another day in myLot. Been busy myself and I too just got back from a short online break. I missed a meeting this morning and just slept out of fatigue from the whole week. Gotta get back to catching up to myLot as well. Hello STRANGERRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Wondered where the hell you been??? It was like you just dropped off the face of the earth. I was gone for about a week & just got back myself. My real life kinda imploded & it took me a few days to get it back together. I'm still working through my emails trying to catch up on everything I missed!!! I know I've missed responding to some friends' discussions & just hope they forgive me!!! Fortunately my rating has stayed the same or possibly gone up one point I've seen people leave a 6 & come back a 10. I've also seen people leave a 10 & come back an 8. Neither had said a word while they were gone & I cannot figure out why such a drastic change in their ratings could occur. I chalk it up to just the way myLot works sometimes. My first REAL lesson in myLot was to NOT take anything personally. Chit happens & it is usually NOTHING anybody has done. Sometimes I wonder if we don't do it to ourselves. Then again I wonder how, if we're NOT here, how did we even do it to ourselves. Now that you're back, hold your head high, smile broadly & PLEASE stand in line in front of MEEEEEEE. I've missed coveting your tushie while you were gone!!!

hi zed, keeping nice have its own price others are simply jealous and they are totally unknown.. as myself been advice to keep quiet and it nice you brought up this topic and not remain mute, deaf and blind.. what puzzling me when i become active just last Thursday i was choosen as the highest rated discussion which mean i been rated positive many times and i manage to increase by i point not along within 24 hours the next day i lose again 1 point in my star so nothing worst than what happen on me... within this month i have more than 35 discussion in a row... while i am still new on this site before i have a blue star and suddenly it drop to where i am now no matter how active i am... so the ranting is just fine so the negative rating should be eliminated as their is biases on it

Hi Zed, This always happen to me too. at first i felt bad but i did not mind anymore. i don't want to get stress because of this up and down and plus/minus ratings. i hope this will be responded to. i just do my thing if they're not happy with my responses or whatever, it's okay. it will not stop me from doing my activities here in mylot! thanks zed. you're not alone and i understand and feel what you felt.

well, you are absuletly right. i agree with you that rating is not factor even you can try your best. thought this is my first discussion in my lot program. i do not care rating.i just see my comments, if i think its right, then i do not care anything in the world.
