When you went to your first day at work how was it.What did you have to do did they give you training.Did you eat alone.I also want to know if you got along with everyone at work.Sorry, but I would really be scared to go to my first day of work actually I am terrified of always going to anything on the first day because I tend to get nervous a lot.

I wasn't scared, but I felt very.. new. It was very obvious to everyone around me that I had absolutely no experience with this job, as I fired off questions just about every 2 minutes. But I was never scared, although I'll admit a little nervous about meeting all the new people and possibly screwing up. But luckily, when you're new, employers and bosses (and co-workers) seem to cut you slack.

Hi anime123, your fear is understandable because you find yourself in an unfamiliar place and unfamiliar people all around you. Not to mention the unfamiliar boss that you will be reporting to. Well, actually there's really nothing to worry about. You don't have to worry that others will judge you unfavorably on your first day at work. What you do have to mind about, however, is to learn as fast as you can about your work at hand. Follow instructions, be friendly and humble, and mingle around with your new colleagues. In no time, you will feel at home in your new working environment.

hello anime123!
My first day at work was a bit tough. After I had a week of training, I was sent to a "sales call" and start dealing with clients, it was basically an industrial companies (client) and was located out of town. Anyway my first job was "sales exec./representative"...it was hard because, I do some after-service out of town by myself. Alone.
Main reason why I shifted to other type of work. Haha! But it was a memorable experience for me.

Depends on what kind of work you're going to start at. In my current job I remember that I arrived at the hour they told me, but when I arrived there nobody was at the place. Half an hour later people came, and I was really angry.
Apart from that, the rest was smooth and I didn't get too tired.

My first day at work was nice. Me and my fellow first-day employees were given an orientation about the company's policies and were made to sign contracts. We were also given a tour around the office so that we would be familiar with our new workplace. After lunch, we were introduced to our respective departments and managers/team leaders and were also given our own work stations. It was a memorable experience for me.
