Can you verify your Paypal account even if you don't have a bank account?

Hi everyone :) I just received my payout this January, and I've found out that you can receive your money online even if it's not verified. I have also donated half of my earnings to a charity and it subtracted on my mylot earnings.. However my question is, how can I convert my Paypal money into real cash? Some say you should have a bank account first, but I heard that you can also verify your Paypal account without having a bank account. So, can anybody help me with this one?? :( Thanks in advance :)

Hi friend! Yes, you can receive payouts even your paypal account is not verified. But you need to link a debit card in order for your paypal account to be verified so you can withdraw your earnings and to have the cash in your hand. I applied to unionbank last december and I got my debit card after a week, I spent 350 pesos for processing fee and deposited 200 pesos (paypal will deduct $1.95 on your card when you link it on your paypal account, it will be refunded once you got verified). Next, I enrolled it on unionbank's site, it took two days. Then I link it on paypal, filled up the form and submit, look on transactions list on unionbank for the code (also called expuse code), a four-digit number to be used in verifying paypal account. Log in to paypal and verify it by entering the expuse code and after that, it is now verified. To save money on the charge of transfer, I added a bank account in it so the charge will be 50 pesos for amount below 7000 pesos and the rest will be free of charge instead of 250 pesos charge at any amount. Transferring takes around one week. Most filipinos here in mylot prefer this procedure, you can also try it. Have a nice day!

Thank you very much boogerman :) I guess I'll just wait for my next two payouts to withdraw my earnings so that it will be all worth it hehe :) Anyway.. another off topic question.. can I also purchase items online even if your Paypal is still unverified? Have you tried doing it?

I haven't tried shopping online but a friend had told me that the paypal account must be verified in order to purchase items online. Nice to know that you donated some of your earnings to charity.

If you don't have bank account then you must own the debit/credit card to withdrawal your money from your PayPal account. Even though you have bank account, you also must linked the credit/debit card in your PayPal.

If you don't have credit/debit card then you cannot lift the limited and your PayPal status is still Unverified. If you linked into your PayPal then PayPal will charge you $1.95 on the card then will refund back to your card. Make sure your card is can use for online transaction with Visa or Master Card logo. It required to get your account to be verified, and there is a fee for every month after the PayPal verified.

You can verify your paypal account with an EON Cyber Account. It is a debit card which you can use to verify your paypal account. Since you come from the Philippines, you can apply it in Union bank. Have a good day.

go to your nearest union bank and open an eon account. so far, i think, this is the only bank in the philippines that allows you to be paid by paypal without having a credit card or even a mere bank account. but be sure to visit their website first because some employees of the bank, in my experience, don't have any clear idea on how a client can go about this eon card application hassle-free.

Yes you should have a bank account and a debit card first before you withdraw your earnings in Paypal. You have to had a debit card because they will verify it and they will put the money in it. You just have to look at your paypal account and go to get verified section and just follow the instructions. Im a verified member that's why i dont have any problem in withdrawing my earnings there.

Well, the only way I have found to transform Paypal money to cash is linking it to my bank account or to my credit card. Paypal is something really useful, isn't it?

The only way to verify your paypal is to have a bank account or credit card.If you does'nt have either of these, you can buy a virtual credit card and get your paypal verified for lifetime. You can buy a virtual card for a minimum of $7 from ppvcc(i hope that is the site). They accept cash from unverified accounts as well.If you have any further questions add me as friend.

Is virtual credit card allowed in the Philippines?? :| sorry I have no idea about the virtual credit card..
24 Jan 10
No, You Can't Withdraw Your Money Until You Have Your Bank Account... So You Can't Verify It anyway... I Suggest You To Open Your New Bank Account ASAP... Or Just Spend Your Money Directly From Your PAYPAL Account.

You need an entity to transfer your paypal account. Ideal is a Bank account, which can be in any country. As others have said, options are debit card/ credit card.

You can verify your paypal account with a debit/credit. Apply for one and go to your paypal account and link with your card to get it verified. You can choose afterwards if you want to put a bank account or not. It depends on you but you can get the cash in your debit/credit card.

I just ask for a check - sure it costs me a buck and a half, but since I failed to get it to verify the first time, I've never bothered again - and I wait until I have enough to make it worth while.

Hi, for verifying your Paypal account, you don't need to have a bank account, just a debit or credit card will do the job too. However, if you want to transfer the money within Paypal to real cash, it will depends on which country you are in. Please do look at https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ for more information.
