Do you know how to swim?

The water is lovely and it would be great if you could swim. However, it can be terrifying if you do not have a good swim coach. I remember when my son went for swimming classes, he got scared. I tooker overhis classes and now he loves to swim. So try and learn it from someone you trust.

wow...my answer is 50/50 beacoz..my body can swim i know that,, but sometimes my mind refuses..i do body boarding, luvs the beach and the waves...just hang on to my board...to keep out of trouble..LOL

I dont know how :)) But when me and my partner decided to hang out in beaches, he'll assist me to go to the middle of the water :))

I have been able to swim since i was about 7 years old and even though i donot go swimming anymore i do miss not being able to go.Only 2 out of my 6 children can not swim and i can not get in the swimming pool water anymore to teach them as the chemicals that are at the pools bring my skin out really bad for weeks so i have been advised not to get into the water.

Yes, but I'm not very good at it. I really should take it up again, it's very good exercise, but I need to find a swimsuit that I like first and as I don't like swimsuits at all that'll be a bit difficult :-)

Hello vycess, Yes I know how to swim. When I was 7, me, my brother and my cousins visits our province in Bicol, Philippines. Our uncle walk us in the nearby river. The river is 10ft deep. We only have an empty plastic gallon of ketchup, and cooking oil.Our uncle told us to jump into the river and we should survive using the gallons. It's like adrenaline rush, skills in swimming naturally learned. Maybe you can try this out! lol :)

I can swim..but I'm afraid of the ocean and lakes. I live in FL and there are many dangers-alligators, sharks, cotton-mouth snakes..I have watched way too many animal planet shows about shark attacks-and several Great whites have been found just a mile off our coasts. I will swim in our little backyard pool-but nowhere else! If I can't see the bottom-I'm not going near it.
