Payment of $0.01?

United States

Is anyone else having this trouble? My payments for each day are only showing up as $0.01, when I'm making over 20 posts a day! It's almost like a deposit and then the following day I'll get a larger amount posted. Very strange... Is this happening to anyone else?

hi! earnings posted today reflects our participation from the previous day's cut-off. kinda earnings today is yesterday's participation. and since mylot is an international community, different mylotters participate all day and all night thru. since we also come from different time zones, perhaps during the cut-off period of mylot only one of your posts got thru for their calculation and your other 19 posts were calculated for next cut-off. thus sometimes you get high or low earnings in different days for the same participation everyday. i've been used to this kind of earnings. there were days i wasn't participating and yet i received earnings. i realized it was for my previous day's participation. what i am surprised at was when earnings fluctuate. the occasional drop of 1-2 cents, i know, will be because of deleted posts from participating in discussions that violated mylot guidelines. i'm well used to that also. sometimes i get 1-4 cents increase in some days. however today, i got 19 cents increase and it isn't even time for update on earnings. now that was strange for me. although i must say it was a nice surprise. i just hope it isn't a fluke or something and that the increase will stay. hehe

:) Yeah, I totally agree with you, mylesnarvaez. Because we come from places with different timezone, so I cannot count our posts on the exact day from our timezone to decide how much we can earn. It may not be added this day, but it's sure to be paid the next day.

For these 20 posts a day that you make, do you respond and comment actively? You can only earn through active participation.. if you have already done that, normally earnings will update the next day if not today. No worries about that and hope this helps.

Yes, there is nothing to worry about that as it will be updated on the next day if not updated today. Aside from that, earnings does not depend on the number of posts, it is based on quality so when someone asks how much a user can earn per post, the answer is uncertain as short posts are not paid and good quality posts deserve a nice amount. I agree about active participation that you had mentioned, if a user is active on posting, as well as posting comments, it helps the user to earn more but quality still matters on it so to earn more from posting in discussions, both quality and quantity are considered.

Yes Zed...I "comment actively" and post right after I read the message from my respondents. In this way, I am happy with my earnings every update...it's not a big amount though but i find it reasonable. Information I get from different respondents is what matter most..

Its like most things in life. The more quality you put in, the more quality you get out. I suggest spending a bit more time on one post instead of posting bulk one liners. Another suggestion: If people are interested enough to take time to read and respond to the subject you posted, then it's only reasonable, to suggest that you take the time to answer them the best way you can. More Quality..... More Money

I just skimmed through about 10 of your most recent discussions and in NONE of them did you ever comment on ANY of the responses you got. If you don't have anything to say to responses, it's NOT a discussion: it's just a question and answer session. You are missing out on a big earning potential if you don't maintain the discussions you start. The other thing that often confuses people is that MyLot have their own 'end of day'. I believe that that is midnight, CST (they are in Kansas). What you post after that time is accounted for the next day. That MAY be the reason that you are seeing the larger amounts appear, apparently, a day late, depending on what time you are active and where in the US you are.

hi I never make that tiny amount what are you doing, one sentence posts? they do not pay for posts that are that short. why dont you new people learn you must make quality posts not quantity, so that you have something interesting to get paid for. twenty posts of one line net you nothing, zero, de nada. use four or five lines and take time to make it interesting and quality not just a few random words. take time, make it large enough to make sense. see this response. If I just wrote one line I would make zero cents. try it and you will make money. stay on here for four hours and make twenty fat posts you will make seeable money. You are paid for what you post and if its just some few words nope that will not do it. make them five six even seven lines long and yes you will make even a dollar. try it. it works. I make at least thirty dollars a month.

I can't really say they are new members, but I also would say by the looks the reason why they are making so little is evident look at this post, and no comments??

Hello there! Well, there is nothing strange about that, you mentioned that a larger amount is added to your earnings on the next day. Remember that not all of your activity within a particular day will be updated on the same day, it may be updated on the next day as our posts are still under reviewing. The system reviews the posts before updating the earnings, those that are not reviewed after the update will be counted on the next day. As stated on the earnings section, participation earnings are estimated and subject to changes until payments are made, it may increase or decrease depending on the quality of your posts. Try to post a bit longer and also try to post comments to other responses and/or adding an image to your response, that could help you to earn more. Have a nice day!

What hatley said in her response, sums it up as to why you aren't earning anything. You wouldn't be the first one to come in here thinking that the more posts you do, the more you can make. That only happens if they are quality posts, which means they need to be more than 4 lines long, or you won't get paid. If you post a lot of one line posts, then you are just wasting your time, and mylots as well. You need to read the guidelines as to how to earn in here. Quality is what mylot wants, not just a bunch of posts that have not substance and aren't descriptive. Some will come in here just top post and really don't care if they post like they should, but they are also learning that it is because they aren't taking the time to post correctly. I hope this has helped you understaqnd how to earn in here. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

No, it doesn't happen to us, since we know we have to comment to the replies on our posts to make money. Otherwise we don't get paid for all of the replies on our posts. By the looks, you post and post and are not leaving any good comments. Not even a single word.
