Are you like me?
Do you NEED to genuflect when speaking?
I believe, that if ever my arms were cut off (god forbid) that I'd probably stop talking. (Perhaps to the delight of some?)
How about you?
Can you speak without gesturing?
I can't seem to speak any other way.

My hubby always say i look like a windmill, when i talk to someone. He says if i move my arms any faster, he can use me for a fan in the house. Now, is that rude or what? For some strange reason, i have to move these two arms or hands when i talk. I think people think it strange, but at least we get to exercise while we talk.

Hehehehehe.
Next time your hubby says that you look like a windmill, tell him that you're conserving energy, and are just trying to reduce the hydro bill!

As you are aware, one of the main traits of a Gemini, is to constantly talk.....and NOT necessarily all the time with their hands either!
Wouldn't it be something, if a Gemini NOT only needed to use their hands to speak, but needed their feet too?
Now THAT, I would like to see!

My mother used to tell me that, if I lost my arms, I wouldn't be able to speak. I'm exactly like you. They say Italians speak with their hands but I have no Italian blood in me and I'd be lost without my hands when speaking.
I mean, geez, how can anyone express fully what they're trying to say without using arm and hand motions? I'd find it impossible!
If my mother only knew, she could have gotten me to shut up if she just made me sit on my hands for awhile.

I agree, it does sound impossible, doesn't it?
The reason I brought up this discussion, is due to a character I've seen on on the former TV series, Boston Legal. He has a rare disorder, where he has to keep his hands at his sides, in an effort to control the disorder. How he manages to speak his lines without the aid of his hands, must have taken a tremendous amount of strength on his part. I've seen him play other roles, and he's very "hand-expressive".
I've used my hands to speak, since I can long remember.
My mother was a public speaker and used her hands often whenever she gave a dissertation. Perhaps that's who I picked it up from? Who knows?
In any case, my mom was the same as yours; hmmm, if she only knew?
Say...you don't think we're related, do you?
