whew! im using the obsolete model. the nokie 6630 and 3310 LOL. but hey no kidding i rather use the nokia 3310 than my 6630. why? because its more easier, so fast to use. its very basic phone. no more bla bla when write messages, i mean its direct.

When I got a cellphone last year I thought long and hard on which one to get. I chose a AT&T Tracfone. No contracts to worry about and I buy minutes every 3 months. At this time I have not used it alot. Some months I use it alot. I sometimes text more then I call on my phone. My phone is a LG and I like it alot. A Tracphone is just right for me.

I guess it all depends on how much money you want to spend, and what features you want. I've been thinking of getting one too, but geez...cell phones can get mighty expensive. Not only does one have to pay for the phone, but for the contract as well.
I'm not crazy (sorry) about these, "pay-as-you-go" phones. To me, that's just a disaster waiting to happen, money wise. No, all I want is a phone...don't care if it has a camera or whatever on it. All I need one for is to talk. Mind you, I do like the new android phones, but they're well out of my price range.
If I were you (and I'm not), I'd go for something that's easy on the pocket-book, fits comfortably in your hand, has a menu that is easy to use, and buttons that are large enough to manipulate, without looking too gaudy. If it also comes equipped with a camera and available blue-tooth, then that's the one I'd go for. The make or model wouldn't be too much of a concern.

Yeah right! Reasonable.
These days...reasonable price means:
"You can't really afford it!"
;-)

I have a Samsung and I constantly use it to talk to people or to use my planner. If you only use it occasionally, get a basic phone. You probably don't need a lot of bells and whitles. I think a Razr is a good phone.

Hi crazydaisy!^^
I have a Samsung sliding cellphone and i also have a Nokia flip cellphone. I always use them both because I have two different numbers. My Nokia flip cellphone is kinda old two, like 3-4 years old. It was a cellphone given to my mother and it's very sturdy so I am not thinking of selling it or giving it away. It has fallen many times and my niece always play with it and yet, I still can use it.^^ I am not recommending it for you though because it's probably phased out. ^^;;
I wouldn't recommend a sliding cellphone too because in my experience, it breaks easily. My samsung cellphone had a problem only after a year I purchased it. And so was my friend's cellphone which was also a sliding phone. I would recommend an ordinary cellphone, or maybe a flip cellphone.^^ I don't know about brands and models because I am not that aware with things like that. I do want to buy a LG Lollipop cellphone which is a new model and a flip cellphone. It doesn't have much high tech features like wi-fi or something like that but I like it because the design is very cute.^^
I hope you find a good cellphone.^^

I have a Ms20 samsung. I have been using it for 2 years now. It had been through many repair. I don't recommend this phone for you to used or I am the one has problems using it. But anyway, I love the phone. it has camera, a moving camera, a MP4, and a FM Radio. I do not usually use the camera since I don't have events to go and my face is not good to caught up in camera. What I love to use is the FM radio since my day is not complete without music. I have new phone now and it is an Iphone. It has the same feature as my Ms20. I love both my phone.

Hi daisy,
I think Nokia may be the good option and most of the people are using the same and happy with the functions. I am using Sony Ericsson which I like and it is very user friendly. But it creates some problems too so I won't suggest it for you. My hubby and his niece are using Nokia set and they are happy with its functions.

I've had a Samsung Propel for just over a year now. I think it is the best phone that I have ever had. I use my phone all the time as my husband and I don't have a landline in our home. We use our cell phones for our communication and my phone serves as the primary phone number for our household. I always get a good signal and it is also a great phone to have for texting purposes even though I don't text on a regular basis.

Hey dear! My cellphone is Nokia 3310 and it's a part and parcel of my life. I can't go anywhere without it as my friends and well-wishers often look for me in their needs. But it is an old one and I wish to replace with Sony Ericsson SO902WP+ waterproof phone. I chose waterproof 'cause it rains a lot during the rainy season in Bangladesh. You should choose a cellphone that is durable and long-lasting. Good luck!

I have an LG 550 Fusic. It's about 2 and a half years old. I got it on a three year contract in Sept of 2007. If it still works as well as it does when the contract is up, I'll continue to use it, but if not, then I think I am going to upgrade to an iPhone, which I've always wanted.
As for how often I use the phone, I really only use it when I need it. Not many people have my number. The phone is for my convenience, not theirs. If it's an emergency, my mother and my husband have the number. If I need to get in touch with someone right away, I have that option.

I have an LG envTouch. I use it everyday, as it is the only phone that I have, so I have to take it with me when I go out, so my kids can get in touch with me if need be. When I am charging it, though, I leave it home, but otherwise, it is always with me. I have to have my phone on all day, everyday, or I will miss the calls from my kids, and they do need to see how I am from time to time. I don't know what I would do without my phone, as it a way of life for me, and I would certainly be lost without it. At first when I got a cell phone, it wasn't that way, but since I live alone, it is something that I need to keep in touch with my family. Take care, and happy mylotting.
