do you need any occation to go out and spend time with your friends??

some of my school friends have been separated from me because of studies and they have recently returned.so they rang me up and we went out to spend tme with them for a day.i really enjoyrd a lot there......but i know some who remember about their friends only when there ia some occation...whenever we talk about meeting they tell us to wait for that particular occation

No, friends need to be there for and with each other. Not only on special occasions. It is possible that many of them only has that time to visit, as they can be busy studying or working. But they should make a point of it, to be there, no matter what.

but you know there are some of my friends who have this tendency to visit only if there is some special occations.....otherwise they dont visit..i myself have this type of friends.its very disgusting you know

even if i want to i cant break the friendship because its really old one.so far we studied in the same school so didnt have any problem but now as we are in different colleges this problem is ariing

Technically, No. But in reality, perhaps, YES... That is to note the things we get so busy with like work and other commitments in the real world. There sure might be a very good reason why such friends couldn't hang out with you all the time. I've experienced this like when my friends and I graduated college. During school days it's like impossible for us to not spend time together. However, when we stepped out of school and started to work (really busy work), special occasions and emergency situations are our only key for us to see one another and get together. T_T
