If you are going to a tour or if you are a commuter traveling for more than 2 hours then what will do during that time.I take newspapers and magazines with me during traveling. If journey is so long then I take novels with me.Of course I listen to songs in the journey. But books interest me a lot.Do you have any other options

I always take a book or two to read. I absolutely can't travel without enough reading materiel to last me for the entire journey.

I look out of the window of the train at the passing scenery. I like to read a magazine or a book on a train after it is dark. I look out of the window when I am on a bus. Reading on a bus would give me motion sickness. I sometimes listen to music through the headphones on my personal music player. I have got a few stories that have been recorded that I can listen to. I like to get chatting to the other passengers.

I read books, I listen to my iPod. Of late, I'm obsessed with audio books. I write in my notebook when I get a laptop, I'll write on that. I also plan to use my laptop to check email and use Facebook. I tend to get bored on mass transit, so in order to avoid driving my assistant crazy, I usually bring about four amusements per multi-hour trip. This is a good plan except that all my devices fail. This recently happened when I went home for Christmas. I was not a happy person.

I like to read or write when I am in that situation. I always bring some books, some newspapers or some magazines. I love reading and I think that is a nice to spend the time. I also like to write in my notebook. Sometimes I write about my day, my thoughts or my feelings and sometimes I write poems, short stories or letters to my friends. If I don't want to read or write I play some games on my cell phone or spend the time on deleting old messages or pictures.

i like to catch up on my reading like you rather than wasting those long boring hours spent during travelling. I also like listening to music during such journeys, it helps me relax before important meetings and discussions.

I'm not very good at travelling, I won't get on a plane due to several bad experiences and when I was younger I used to get extremely car-sick. I found the only thing that would take my mind off it was to listen to music through my earphones and close my eyes. Then I couldn't see the world moving or feel dizzy! I can't read a book if I am in a car or on a coach as again the motion sickness sets in as soon as I try and concentrate on something. Strangely, train travel and boat travel doesn't have any adverse effects on me. But definitely music, doesn't matter what you listen to, it can propel you to a different world of thought and imagination.
