There are a plethora of posts about making money online through PTC sites, but who has taken advantage of the internet to find a job in the outside world, whether it be looking through online classifieds or perusing employment sites such as monster.com, Yahoo's HotJobs, etc. or joining a site and posting your resume?
I've done this and have been moderately successful in finding jobs. One of them is a cool PT job I currently have -- role player for the FBI. I get to play the 'bad guy' in scenarios used to train agents.

I have often used the internet to find jobs in the real world. There are a couple of Danish sites where you can find a new job, and I have found quite a few jobs that way. The sites are divided into different categories and it is very easy to find the kind of jobs that you are looking for and the right area of the country. Sometimes I have been asked to send job applications through email, but in most cases I have used snail mail. Sometimes I have also sent applications to places that weren't looking for people at moment and asked them to keep my application in case the situation changes. I always used the internet find the addresses that I needed.

hi LaDeBoheme!
wow that's nice! role player for the FBI! coolness. I think many people use internet to find jobs in the "real world". I have an account in Jobstreet.com and they have helped me find jobs that suit my data or background. I think it's still important to have real work where you can build your career but, at the same time doing some extras online are fun way to earn as well.
Happy Lottig!

Before trying to use the internet to make money online I would always look for real life jobs in the internet too. That's how I have found all the jobs that I have done so far, including the actual one.
Internet is pretty useful for online and real life
