Why do men lie to his loveone?

There are types of lie the good and the bad.. If you lie because for the sake of your partner then it is good but for the sake of yourself or you done something wrong then it is bad. There so many people lie bot just men. Start with you.. Just do the right thing..and right things will follow... but f you do things bad at first then bad things will follow...

Men usual lame reason for lying is because they don't want to hurt their love one. But what the heck, whether they tell the truth or not, it will still hurt. But in my honest opinion, I think they lie because they have a hard time accepting the truth and telling a lie makes them feel better. Is it logical to conclude that men lie because they are comfortable making up stories? lol

hello ellaine, there's no doubt that this has happened to you through experience in your life. but you know, lying can be done for a good reason no matter how bad can it be. i supposed some are not honest enough to trust you with what they think or do. if he's just doing it as a part of tip of the ice berg attitude, maybe you should let him go.

Guys lies for many reasons. First, he doesn't want you to ask anymore questions. Second, he doesn't want you to know the truth that will really hurt you. Third, if he have done something wrong, he doesn't want to get caught. Or maybe he's hiding something from you. If he really loves you, he will be honest with you...

Hmm...Men say that they had to lie to prevent us from getting hurt, and they also lie in their defense. But it's just human nature to lie at some point. It's just that men are usually more analytical of situations so they tend to lie, and women are more emotional so we happen to blurt out the truth. White lies, big lies, it all depends on how you take it and how secure you are with a loved one.

hi man n woman both lie .. if ur man lies to u, u have to look into urself dear .. are u a sesative person, emotional person or jealousy one ... sometimes man keep somethings to themselves so that they dont hurt our feeling .. lets say your man receiving phone call from girl "friends" i stress here "friends" and u show jealousy ofen, he will end up lying to u the next time he receives the call .. if we woman learned to cotrol our own feelings, man can be tru to us cheers

sometimes men lie because they don't wanna get caught doing something that they are not supposed to be doing. They make up stories to protect themselves, protect their ego or simply avoid confrontations.
