Swallowing a live fish.....

hi yogambal, it is correct that the Bathina brothers are serving the medicines for Asthma in the starting of the Chitta Karthe,there are several karthe,just like months karthes are there in that season they give medicines in the old city thousands of people are geting medicines,they put the medicines in the mouth of live and drop the same in the mouth of the patient,the live fish will go in the stomach,most people believe that the Ashtma is reducing,have a nice day

Hi yogambal, I also heard the same in news only. I don't know anybody who undergone the treatment and the result of this treatment. I felt it is horrible to listen and I don’t know how the patient can do it. I think there are so many other method of treatment is available for asthama especially in ayurveda. But I agree the problem is little dangerous and anybody wish to take a good treatment which can cure the problem completely.

yogambal_64, I am sorry to say that this is somewhat far fetched and I wouldn't want to consider it. Being an asthmatic myself, I feel that there are much proven and well tested medications and therapy out there than swallowing some life fish. Asthma is manageable as long as we are being careful with our surrounding environment, habits, diet, lifestyle and not forgetting the various necessary medications. I am just skeptic with this method adopted in Hyderabad, India and would not advocate it if you have a sensitive condition. Take care and have a nice day.
