As I am a full time online seller, on a couple of auction sites, i work everyday for at least 10 hours a day. During the week when the post office is open I can have to spend 2 hours or more a day packing parcels.
I'm used to working long hors, having worked in for myself for many years.

It depends on the day honestly. I feel like whenever I'm AT work, I'm working, although sometimes the work is as easy as sitting in the store I work at and making sure all is well and waiting for people to come in. I don't really goof off, though, unless I have a lot of spare time on my hands of course! At my other job, though, at Macy's, I can honestly say I work my whole shift (usually 6 - 6 1/2 hours) with only one half an hour break.

Hi Macfish
My hours at work vary from week to week sometimes I work 7 hours a day sometimes 5 sometimes 6 I kind of like it that way but I am usually off on weekends so that is a big plus for me and my family
I work in the morning which I am happy about because I don't think I would like working evenings I use to work evenings for a while but it really interfered with my sleep pattern so I was pretty glad I didn't have to do that anymore

I don't have boss because iI just work at home. I am the owner of my own company and I am the only employee as well. It's really great to work without someone demanding you to do things which you really don't like. Well I was in your situation before wherein I worked for only few hours because I used to spend some times talking with my colleagues and chatting with other people online.

My daily work hours is 8 hours. Seven of these 8 hours is spent working while one hour is alloted for break time and snacks. That is my typical day at the office.

Technically if your work timings are for 9 hours. If you put in 7 hours of intense and solid work, you really do have 2 hours to mingle and discuss matters with colleagues.
