I just watched the remake of the film Sherlock Holmes and what can i say? I is indeed a blast! Robert Downey, Jr is superb as Holmes. It was really worth my money and time since i have my examination tomorrow.
But i would like to ask you MyLotters which movie is better? the remake of Sherlock Holmes or the old one? This is of course in terms of other aspects not including effects.

I am not so much of a fan of the old movies, I think this new one is like a punch to the gut to all of them, budget-wise and effects-wise. Story-wise though, the older ones are more faithful to the books, but you can't really expect that from a big-budget Hollywood movie. I still like the movie and I must say the fight and action scenes are superb. Robert Downey Jr. was so much fun to watch as the eccentric Holmes, and Jude Law as well as the ever faithful Watson.
