I just read that in Miami Florida that Burger King will opening up a new resturant called The Whopper Bar. They will not only have the things that are on their menu noe but they will also be adding beer as a choice. They will have a whopper value meal with a beer for around $8. I am a little surprised by this but I would like to know what you all think about it too. Would you go get your flame-broiled burger with a beer? Would it keep you from going to Burger King because they serve beer? If you would like to read the story, here's the link. www.usatoday.com/money/industries/food/2010-01-21-burger-king-beer_N.htm

That's odd, coming from a fast food like Burger King. I can imagine people coming out from Burger King and being drunk too, hmmmp. Might not be a good idea after all. I've always looked upon Burger King as a friendly joint, with family and children having breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Let's just say this: In my neighborhood, within less than a third of a mile from my house I have a Sonic, a What-A-Burger, a McDonald's, a Burger King, a Taco Bell, a Golden Chick, and a Wendy's. I have taken the roomie to Taco Bell (for some strange reason I can't eat there) and Golden Chick - we used to have a KFC until this last month - and I liked to get grilled chicken there. We would go to Sonic, What-A-Burger and Wendy's - even once in a GREAT while to McDonald's, but I think in 26 years of living here I've gone to Burger King once. Do they make bad burgers - no, but I like Sonic and What-A-Burger better, mostly its because they are hard to get into and then harder to get out of!

Burger King is one of my least visited places too. I guess they need something to boost business...lol

I think it is stupid. I don't really eat Burger King very often anyway, but I guess as long as they don't serve that combo meal in the drive thru it won't be such a big deal.

Wow..I hadn't thought about that. I bet theu won't be able to do that by law though. I do know of drive thru stores that do that though. Thanks for the response.
