I know there are a lot of places that are worth to go, and this discussion will be an endless discussion. Therefore, I am thinking to open a discussion that each user can only suggest ONE place where people must go? What do you think?
Personally, I vote for "The Great Wall". Although "The Great Wall" wasn't from natural, that's it was built, look at how many miles does "The Great Wall" has and think about how "The Great Wall" was built. I think it is really worth to go and see this amazing *construction*.

Tibet! It's the highest country in the whole world. I definitely want to see how it feels to be on top of this world (not in a mountain, though). Besides, Tibet's culture is unique so there are many things to learn in there. :)

I have seen quite a bit of the world but that one place I feel all should visit is Switzerland, specially a visit to the Jung frau up in the alps and post a letter from there which has a post office highest in the world. The walk in the ice place is something to be remembered for all times, not to speak of the clean and beautiful roads in Switzerland bordered by well manicured grass!

I went there in the month of May and at that time the weather was just nice. But with the unpredictability of weather these days I cannot say how it will be in future years. The meandering brooks were flowing but they could stiffen if there is severe winter. The crystal clear water was something I had not seen anywhere. The greenery bordering the roads with tiny yellow flowers is yet another something you will love and appreciate. I did!

Well, I think every person has a certain place in this world they want to see. My suggestion might not be a normal one, but I think everyone should go to Pompeii, Italy. It has something for everyone and it shows us how fragile life is and how much power mother nature truly has. The history of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius and the people of Pompeii's last day is a truly amazing and sad story. For the scientific people, Mount Vesuvius can be climbed and you can look down into the crater - which takes a lot of exercise for the healthy among us. For those who just want a beach or beautiful scenery - its right there. I truly enjoyed my trip there and the memories I made will last me my entire lifetime.

Yes, your suggest is not a normal one, but indeed a good one. Thanks for your suggestion. Normally, the places that we want to go are places that have beautiful scenes. Unlike the place that you suggested, you have actually reasoned why do we need to go to this place, which is extremely good. Thanks again.

Hanoi,the capital of Vietnam.
It is a traditional city with a beautiful lake--Hoan Kien lake located in the middle of the city.Centruried streets next to the Hoan Kien lake,a lot of nice cafe seated around the lake and streets.
Vietnamese humanities character and style flood in the air.

The Greek island of Santorini, off torist season, is such a romantic place to be. The island was formed by a volcanic eruption so it is shaped like a horseshoe. Find a cafe terrace and watch truly amazing sunsets!
