I am firm believer in making a little difference everyday to improve my world. I believe that if everyone did something everyday to help someone else, or the planet, that the world would be a much better place. What do you do to make a difference everyday?

I'm with you! My quest is to be a blessing to someone every day. I'm not always aware of having succeeded every day, but with that as my vision it happens more often than not.
I crochet afghans for Project Linus and I am the chair of our church's Ministry of Compassion. [This involves me researching areas of need and finding ways our congregation can participate in helping others.] I put together slide presentations each month to highlight various populations in need and encourage folks to help in some way.
Right now I am heading a bake sale to raise money to build a house or two in Haiti through the Haiti Health Foundation. Haiti gives us a multitude of ways to make a positive difference these days!
Some days the most I can do is pass on some email that helps someone smile. And, no matter what I can't do, I can pray for others throughout the day.
There are really so many ways we can make a positive difference, large and small, that there really is no excuse for not doing something. I'm getting old and often have to use a wheelchair but I can still find something positive to do, even if it is just giving someone a smile, writing a cheerful email, or praying for someone specific.
Being a blessing blesses me.

It's really nice of you to think of that. We really need people like you to make our world better, more peaceful and happier.
In my family, we always keep the used papers, used plastic bottles, cans, etc so that we can recycle them. Also, we do switch off the electricity or water whenever we do not need them. These are simple steps to save the environment, save the resources and save the money.
Also, I believe being happy always can also bring happiness to others too. I always think it's very important to have a happy life. Sometimes I do have some worries, and I am trying to learn how to get rid of those worries and always think positively.
Smile everyday, and it makes your day cheerful too!
