Since last Saturday, me and my daughter came to shopping mall to look for a long gown she will use on their Junior-Senior Prom this coming Feb.6.We arrived at 2pm and got home at 9pm, and guess what? we did not buy anything, except that we ate snacks and dinner inside the mall.Maybe you'll ask why is it like that? Well, as we browse every section of gowns inside the department store, it happens that those she wants to buy is not exactly fitted on her body, there are no available sizes and some fitted but no available color of her choice.I saw some simple gowns that i think will do, but she did'nt like the style. She also saw few beautiful gowns, but the price is so high, and i think it's not worth to buy a very expensive gown for one time use only, to think that the color of the said gown is bloody red. So we got home empty handed and exhausted.Yesterday, she asked me if we could look again at another mall, so again we browsed another mall but i've told her that that she must not be so picky in choosing coz it's hard and really tiring to search again.Luckily we found a simple long gown colored orange and the price is just fair, and when she tried it....almost perfect, even the sales clerk agree. So we happily bought it and the sales clerk suggest a shoes that matches the gown.We use to shop before until closing time, because it takes us a lot of time to decide what to buy, and also the time we spend in the dressing room, even taking pictures of what clothes we've tried, but we never go home empty handed.Although both of us are tired we do enjoy shopping together and i will treasure every moments we spend.
How about you,can you shop in much less time or are you willing to spend much time searching for only one item?Who's your favorite shopping companion?

My favorite shopping companion is....myself! Yes, i'd rather do the shopping galore all by myself as i do take a lot of time shopping and i would really scan all the stalls possibly selling the things i want to buy. I would really compare prices. I want to be alone coz i don't want to be worrying for others whether they might be feeling tired already or hungry or something like that. I don't mind shopping with my daughter though, specially if she's the one who needs to buy something. =)

Well, I used to also shop that long, like searching for certain clothes for a whole day and then finding nothing. So I changed my system, ha ha! Now, I only buy clothes whenever I see a piece that's really pleasant to my eyes, and that I know I will use for a long time. That way, I don't have to shop for clothes and spending a whole day searching for new clothes.

I prefer shopping on my own.it takes me quite some time to make up my mind, especially when it comes to clothes.I choose the clothes I like, then I fit them.if they don't fit me,I'll look again for clothes I like and fit them again.it is my shopping cycle.sometimes, even if I already choose some clothes,it will still take some time for me to decide if I'll really buy them.I love shopping, and I wouldn't want someone bothering me because I have been taking some time to make up my mind.
