Hi Pinoy lotters... Have you made your decision you will you vote for this coming election? Villar has so many ads and commercial of what he'd done for our country while Noynoy does have few commercial I don't know anything about him except that he's one of the son Ninoy and Corazon Aquino. Well, I didn't know yet who will I vote for...

i couldn't agree with you more. besides, his expertise on tourism and some of the locals in Mindanao might help ease poverty and not cause more pain not like what Erap is planning, WAR.
Gibo is good in explaining things but some are just to promising, most specially when it comes to corruption in the Government.

Ill go for Manny Villar. The Liberal Party (the Party of Noynoy and Mar Roxas) has been playing dirty tricks since the beginning of the campaign season. They have had Black Propaganda. They are quite discriminating. Just because Manny Villar was poor then and has become rich today, that does not give them the right to question his morality. I know Manny Villar personally and he is a really good man. :) He is a good father, husband, brother and son. I believe he is a Man of Integrity :) Lets not believe in what we hear.
If you dont know who to vote, DO YOUR PART. RESEARCH :) And you will see how efficient Manny Villar is. He will make a good president.
He will not get the money he spent on his campaign from the people. Like he said, he aims to improve the Philippines' economy. This way our country will be able to pay its debts and the value of peso will increase. Its a win win situation for everybody, including for him. He does not care about how much he spent or lost. HE IS A GOOD GOVERMENT SERVANT LEADER:) If you dont believe, RESEARCH. :)

I would go for Gibo...I think he is the only one that has some good plans for us. The rest have plans too but I think it's not good

I'm not yet sure who to vote for the coming elections. However, I am sure that I am not voting for Noynoy. I don't see any leadership potential in him. I don't know anything about him. What has he done to the Philippines in his previous years in the senatorial chair? Definitely not voting for him nor for his partner Mar Roxas.

Honestly, Noynoy and Villar are both good candidates. Finally I'm having a hard time to decide.:) But I think Noynoy is putting too much emphasis on being the child of two remarkable icons and I guess that alone are insufficient to prove his worth.
Villa has a heart for poor people. Really, it's much easier to approach a person who's experienced hardships in life rather than people who were born with silver spoons in their mouths.
But Dickk Gordon had shown his worth. He may have not done fairly well in the surveys but I would vote for the man considering his accomplishments. We really need a leader who can create change, who has a vision and not just a good family background, or someone with a rags-to-riches story.
But I am open for changes. I may one day decide to vote for ERAP! Who knows, right? I think the man deserves some vindication. hehehe
(funny! myLot asked me to change the word "Dic/k" because it's a violation.Haha! Of course I didn't mean THAT!):P

I still am not sure who to vote. Though most people are for Noynoy, I am still thinking twice voting him. I am also toying the idea of choosing Gordon or Gibo.

It is interesting to read this thread because where I live (not my country of origin)from the news really takes no interest in anything outside of this country! I have to go to other sources, online etc to learn anything.

i would like to believe and hope that indeed NOnoy will not be corrupt when he'll become a president as he PROMISED. I'd still like to take chances. As for
Villar? A NO, NO, NO for him. he is being grilled right now at the senate, tough their are allies of him who gallantly defended him, but what is there to defend for in the first place? while IT IS SOOOO OBVIOUS... and WHERE is he by the way during the senate inquiry when the senate committee tried to ask about the C5 road?Non
NoyNOy and Mar are a good tandem. i believe in their sincerity to serve the people. i hope they will be Guided by the Holy Spirit always in leading the people and the Filipino nation.
i am not waiting for a president to make miracles, (like in the came of economically bankrupt to suddenly becoming the tiger in economy)- i am expecting a good leadership, and example of sincerity in governance.

that's quite tricky, vycess. a seemingly innocent question can be a bait or may be a part of some survey of sorts. however, i will give you an answer. i am a pinoy and is quite familiar with the two. i have met them both personally, even had opportunity to talk lengthily with one. but if i were asked, as you are asking now, who i will vote, villar or aquino, i will tell you, no one of the two. i have another guy in mind. he may not be showing a good number in the surveys, but i believe in his abilities and i personally know him also, though we haven't seen each other for more than 20 years. i'll tell you why i don't like villar and aquino. i may even write about it, abangan mo sa http://pinoygnews.multiply.com/

Neither. I am not convince that they can be a good leader. If I will vote Noynoy, I felt that Kris Aquino will be our president. lol. Nonoy hasn't prove anything for the country. The farmers at Louisiana (Did I get it right?)has a very bad experience with how he handle the problem then. He was still single. Reason? I really don't know but him being single in my opinion pertains that he was a mama's boy and cannot be a responsible husband nor father. He might be a good public speaker but his action is different from what he is saying/experiencing. On the other hand, If Villar will be our next president. I am seeing that he will make a lot of construction in the Philippines because it is his business. He will make all necessary things to beautify the Philippines and what's next? --- we will again be burden by debts? How can he do all the constructions if he will not borrow money? And of course we will pay again for this debts(bigger taxes!!! common!). He will earn more because his company will do it. Same has been done by Atienza (former mayor of Manila) and Bayani (former MMDA Director), they constructed a lot of bridges, venues, etc. even if we don't need them.
I would rather vote for Gordon and Binay, They have proven themselves on their respective area. Binay is an allied of erap but if you will ask the people of Makati (the one who belongs to the poverty level), they have hands up for Binay because they are really enjoying the benefits of being in Makati. I even know someone who is from Manila who uses her aunt address in Makati so that she could use the free hospitalization (delivery of her child) at the Makati Hospitals.
I really hope that we could choose someone that has the expertise in the politics not by popularity but by experience.

It doesn't have to be a choice between Villar and Aquino only. There are other candidates too. But I think the only ones who will stand a chance of winning are Villar and Aquino. If it would really come to this, I might as well vote for Aquino. I don't like Aquino, but if this is the only way to stop Villar from winning, then I will do it. Just think of what Villar will do to get back the money he used for his campaigning.

Me, too. I'd rather go for Gordon. Gordon had proven himself in Subic, had been a well applauded tourism secretary, and a compassionate Red Cross head. I have also noticed that everytime there are debates between presidential candidates, it is him who always make a stand out. So, Gordon is in!
