idea for natural ways of eliminating cat flea

I think we have a cat flea invasion in our home. Our cat left us plenty of flea. We dont want to use a chemical insecticide because we have a 1 year old child at home. Can anyone share me a natural ways to eliminate cat fleas?

well my cat doesnt freak out if i give her a bath. she doesnt like it, but she will let me give her a bath.
thats step one.
my best friend has a cat that is allergic to fleas and we found a solution online that helps her cat. its just lemon juice and water. DO not get it in your cats eyes!
as far as for the house...i have no idea. my cat is an inside cat....

I have had a cat with the same problem before,and I took her to take a shower at home. Fleas hate water very much and they are also susceptible to some medicated oil. Put some medicated oil in the moderate water first and then let your cat enjoy a bath. I know that most cats hate water,but for the sake of their health,you might have a try. It worked well on my cat. The fleas fled away after several "floods" and "drowning". Sorry,this is the only method I can think of.
