How did you deal with corporate politics?

Whether we like it or not, corporate politics exists in the workplace. In the corporate world, we will meet brownoser officemates who are willing to do anything just to get ahead in the corporate ladder. Have you ever experienced corporate politics or favoritism and how did you deal with it?

i think that i can compare crab-mentality of that because they are almost the same just to get the attention of the bosses,because i had encountered those kind of people and yes they will do everything they can so that they will be rewarded.

Because of corportate politics, a former technology manager resigned. But for simple minded person like me who never be in the trouble. I only do my work step by step and also ingnore it. Of course, This maybe because I am not a manager, and I am only a engineer. :):)

whatever form and name, politics is cruel and I really do not like it .... and if there are colleagues who try to do politics just for the sake of his own, I'd better ignore
