Most of them are right. There are lot of ways to have a communication with them. Webcam, long distance calls and others. Fifteen days is not too long, in fact, it is just two weeks (just kidding). I remember the first time that i went away from home. It was the time I had my first job. I really missed my family and friends but, as time passed, I met new poeple and became friend eventually. One thing you can do is try to make your self busy doing stuffs and enjoy your day, always. Also, try not to count the days, you will be surprised, it will just a day before you will go back home. welcome to the wonderful world of mylot kate. i am so sorry to hear that. i too when i travel i miss my family very much. glad that there is already internet and cam to cam chat it makes it more bearable to be away. i remembered the time when my wife (still gf back then) went abroad to work. we dont own a laptop yet. she went to japan were it was hard for her to look for an internet shop. she does not know the language that much yet so it was really hard. we only call which is very expensive. lucky you that you can call them on chat and it is free. and like you said 15 days is not that far away. that would be twoo weeks more.
