Should the cruise ships go to Haiti?

I was talking to someone from Haiti who lives in the UK. He family are all ok but he has lost some friends in the earthquake. he was saying that there was a debate as to whether the cruise liners due to go to Haiti as part of their voyage should stop in Haiti. The two agruments are that firstly how can people enjoy their self on one part of the island while there are people suffering on another part. Will they really be able to relax and enjoy their holiday. While the other school of thought is that if these cruise liners do not stop in Haiti then the country misses out of revenue that they would normally get from the tourism. Apparently one cruise company donated 1 million to the Haiti appeal. What do you think? Should they continue to go to Haiti or should they not?

It's a moot point anyways, their port is completly destroyed, they couldn't dock anywhere in Haiti right now. Not ot mention that most of the country is destroyed, flattened. there is no infastructure, no emergency services, almost no running water, electricity is almost non existant, no hospital, no real local security, no anything.

Make me wonder why it was being discuss in the first place. I thought maybe the part of the island being discussed was not hit. But that is a valid point about the lack of the above, that would answer the question.
