did you ever find the need to delete a friend on mylot??

yes i have.. i will delete people that are spammers and if they have not been active in a long time.. i have had to delete a person here that liked to "steal" my discussions and reword them to make her own and then link them to AC to where she would get hits on that site to make money and then hits on her/my discussion and replies to make money.. it drove me nuts! she acted like she was such a good friend in replying to all of mine but i just saw it was so she could get ideas! i didnt appreciate it and especially when i would ask a question and she would reply to mine she didnt know then post a discussion answering mine so she could get the money and glory for it.. so i unfriended that person.. i let it happen a few times just to make sure it wasnt something accidental or innocent but it started happening so often there was no way but to see it as stealing

i did. a lot of times already. not because they turn out to be spammers.... it is because i dont like them. when i add friends i notify them all on. and response to all their discussion as long as i know what they are talking about. if i find that they are not on my discussion i will observe them for five months or more. if i find them selfish that they dont join my discussion i delete them. that is why they are at my list, thats why it was called friends list. we should help one another here at mylot. if it shows that it is a one way situation i delete them. just my style and my opinion.

I don't delete friends without valid reasons. So far I have not done the nasty job of deleting friends in my list.

So far, i have deleted quite a number of friends from mylot, because they are not active at all.. haha =D Some of them, are just here for the sake of being here, i guess?? PLus, with too many inactive frenz, they tend to jam up the space in my list, which makes my finding of frenz difficult.. As such, i will delete them, as long as they are not active for more than 3 months, unless some of them are my close frenz ^_^

Up till today, I haven't had the "honour" of deleting any friend off my list yet... All the friends I have added have been pretty good and have added me for genuine intentions of becoming my friend, so I see no need to delete anyone. But of course, I have heard of some myLot members complaining that certain people add them as friends to promote referral links and stuff along those lines. Some of those members even took steps to delete such people from their lists. I think such actions are actually justified; it all depends on how irritated you get when you see referral links in your private message inbox or on your profile page comment section.....
