I budget. It sounds incredibly boring, and believe me, for some people it is, but it really works. I think there are no short cuts when it comes to these things, budgeting us a must!

Yes we have every monthly money arrangement for our family. For our new born baby he needs about USD200/per month. For our daily dinners we need also USD200. We have to spend another USD200 for electricity bill, mobile charge, internet charge etc.

Hi, magokars, I don't know if my opionion is useful for you. But I'd like to share it. I usually divide my salary into three parts - for saving, necessary expenses and spend freely. In this way, I always deduct the first two parts from the salary once I get it.
Then I will plan the rest money as per its amount. For example, I will set amount paid by credit card as per it. Then, I try to hold the cash. - Becoz credit card cannot be used everywhere, but cash can.
That's my experience.

well, for me you need to check first the monthly bills. check the utility expenses first and some transactions and expenses for the month. money management is simple, you just need to be patient and at least stop first for being generous (if you want to save more hehe~-). next step in my opinion would be, leave any extra money in case of emergencies, separate also something for the food and needs. then the last step would be checking other bills... much better and safer if you do not have these things like, credit cards and more, i know it's your bank but sometimes it could also be your enemy XD cheers! ehhe~
