You can be a mturk worker; just look it up! They usually have all sorts of tasks on there! They may have translating jobs. They may not pay as well; as you want, but it's the experience that you want. After about 10 jobs or so, you can write it down on your resume. They also have tutor jobs, for international students. Just start googling!

Perhaps you can try getafreelancer.com. A warning, though - there are a lot of freelancers there and competition can be tough. With the right persuasion techniques (and perhaps bidding on the project with a cheaper price compared to anyone else), you can start on your path to interpreting.
