What are the positive in Non verbal communication?

Non verbal does not damage like words can. A brow beating is not the same as a beating. A cross look gives the intended a warning so they are aware and most of the time its only used once to convey the feeling. Non verbal is also a hand on your back that gives support, a kind word can follow but its the small subtleties that speak volumes.

IMHO, some positive signs include smiling, looking at you in the eye, nodding at appropriate time when you are talking, leaning forward to you as you talk, etc. These are some examples of tell-tale signs that say you manage to get hold of the other party's attention and he/she is probably interested in you or the topic that you are ranting about.
