is google legit?

Recently I bought a domain from google to convert my blog to domain.they charged &10.00.the domain is crated and payment also made. but before they are revealed about the features and service will I get. after payment, I received only gmail for 50users, docs, calender,chat,contacts,sites and mobile. They told it is a standard edition (education version).the mail also directing to gmail only. the sites are normally any one can create those who are having gmail account. Even the blog also having gadget and api options we can paste 3rd party html codes for ads or for referrals. in this situation, they recommending to get upgrade to 'premier edition for $50.00 per user. Google is legit? i don't think.
