How you make yourself happy even your sad?

Hi Health,
I just stare at my kids and see their smile--it will make me feel so happy. just the thought of seeing them healthy, positively responding on to the therapy and acamedic education makes me feel so happy. i do not entertain negative feelings. i always make it a point to counteract any thing that will make me feel bad and sad.
watching comedy movies and listening to fast beat music and dance with my kids make me happy too.

when I am sad, I am sad but that emotions have ends so after sadness I will be okay and hopefully i will meet happiness after that. When I am sad, I usually cry and when I want to forget about it I usually sleep or eat my favorite food. Yes I agree animals can help us forget our problems,that is why I hug them, play with them or just be looking at them when sleeping and when they are besides me, makes me feel comfortable and at ease.

sounds like you have the best idea. thats exactly what i do. nothing beats a funny movie or playing with a cute funny dog or pet of any kind. sometimes i talk with someone cheerful to like my son or call my aunt that always helps. listening to favorite music also or looking at old photos of better times.

To change my sad mood to happy I will play with my granddaughter, listen to upbeat music, read it helps in distracting yourself from why you are sad. Or I will just write on Mylot to get out of the sad mood. On mylot you will find things to make you happy and even laugh from time to time.

I watch TV, I go to gym, I go on ballroom dancing, I talk to a friend, I talk to an elderly and sometimes I got a new haircut...

there are alot of things i do when im feeling a little down. sometimes ill just go to sleep, other times ill just sit and listen to some good, upbeat music, but the best way to make myself feel better after a bad day is to go for a really long run or to lift a little bit, takes my focus off of all the bad things and forces me to concentrate on the task at hand

I can have a lot of outlets when I feel sad and about to cry. I used to take a lot of pictures of me to forget the heartaches and the problems. I feel glad looking at my pictures on my digital camera. I even enjoy doing some poses while taking pictures of myself. aside from that, I also watch television or listen to the music. Or if not, I eat a lot of food while playing some computer games.

It is really hard to make me happy when I am actually sad. I try to balance my acts so that others in the family are not affected by my sadness. Everyone has their own problems and why to increment others problems. I surround myself with the things I love. i talk to my friends and family members whenever there is some sorrow in my heart. The best thing is to love yourself and do not permit negative thoughts in your mind.
