Do you feel safe in your town?

We have so much crime in the world today, that it has made our lives a much more unsafe then what it used to be. I would like to think that I live in a fairly safe town. But then when I listen to the news at night, it sometimes makes me wonder if I am cautious enough. I just feel that now days, a person has to really be much more careful of his surroundings and what is going on around him.
