Yes, i know. we are suppose to be scared of them and kill all of the when you get the chance. NO, you are not suppose to. How many of you will take a spidersweb out of the house when cleaning and kill the spider as well. Okay, there are a lot of poisonous spiders which you should rather avoid. I have 4 daddy longlegs and 6 Bulldog spiders in my house. I actually clean around them and for some reason they do not bother us at all. I have watched them so many times and it seems they do not move at all. In the mornings they are atill on their webbs. Do you have any, and do you keep or kill them?

Hi saphrina, I tend to leave them alone. Most of them come only in some corner in the bathrooms. Rather onobtrusive. :) They are not poisonous as well. May be I am not aware. :) Whatever it is, we've never been bitten by spiders, and we never had any problems with them so far. Rare but they are useful becuase they catch those small insects which we cant kill with all possible insecticides. So they go about their business, I go about mine. They are not very big you know. :) But the ones you mentioned. :)

there are no poisonous spiders in this country - if there were i would catch them (very carefully) and put them outside. with the spiders we do have i leave them be - they do no harm and catch annoying insects such as flies. i also leave their webs unless they are obviously very old webs with no spiders in residence.

I never kill spiders, they are good at keeping the small insects at bay, especially the house spiders. I love Daddy Long Legs. I love how they clump up together and bounce up and down, it makes it look like the wall is just moving all around.

The simple answer is NO.I prefer keeping wild animals in the wild.I am not afraid of spider. They don't creep me out either.I have never killed a spider nor do i wish to.Some people do have a hobby for keeping spiders and snakes.I think its cool though. You can really freak out a person with those creepy crawlies!!! hehe

I used to keep and breed tarantulas, so I never kill a spider. Plus I let them live because I hate flying biting insects WAY more than I could ever hate spiders.

We have been ravaged by a series of typhoons last year and the trees broke to the ground. It made me wonder how the cool creatures outside survived the ordeal. Before the rainy season I had played with a few spiders and ants. I placed them in an ice cream cup with a transparent cover. Then I placed some furious ants. The spiders used their webs to disable the ants while the ants bit back, even separating the leg of one spider. Another spider superquickly ensilkened an ant while the other ant saved his comrade by pulling him free with its teeth. The spiders are really cute and I could look closely at a big spider and not harm me. I once threw my nose dirt and the spider hunted it like food. When it discovered it is trash it cut off its silk from it. When I clear the house of spider webs, I clean thoroughly but I never kill them and this makes way for other spiders to build their home.

We don't have any poisonous species of spiders in our country, so I don't see any need to kill these creatures. I usually don't tear down the spiderweb, unless it has grown really large and disturbs my sight. I also don't kill the spiders, if I need to get rid of one, I catch it and throw outside.

If I find them before my son sees them I grab them up by one leg or in a tissue and release them back outside where they can help control the bugs in the flower beds. The webs go in the vacume cleaner. If my son finds them first and I'm not looking he promptly kills them.
I don't let them hang in the house if I know where are they, I have too many little kids in and out to take the chance..My god doaughter was bit by a spider and it ended up making her very sick. The doctor told us that all spiders bite and all are venomous to some degree..so out to the flower beds they go.

Spiders hide in the deepest darkest corners. I have found them hiding behind a door before. Underneath a desk and outside between two trees. As long as they are not bothering anything, then its fine. However, if I get any itchy spider bites, then its war and any spider I see will get taken out with extreme prejudice. Still, I do not mind them, unless they bite me.
