What are you and your spouse/significant other planning to do for Valentines Day? Is it going to be something romantic? My husband I haven't made any plans yet. We've been talking about it though. We are thinking about renting the jacuzzi suite at the super 8 and going out to dinner. It will be nice to have a night away from the kids. So what are you going to do?

I avoid feeding into commercialism whenever possible. I can't avoid it at Christmas because of the kids, but I can certainly avoid the majority of it at Valentine's Day. I'll buy the kids their cards that they have to hand out in class, just because I don't have the patience to make enough cards for everyone in their classes, but that will be the end of it. We do not buy gifts for Valentine's Day, or do anything special. We do not need a special day to be reminded of how much we love each other, or to show that to each other. We do it every day of the year. Valentine's Day is just a ridiculous holiday that the stores make money off of, and I'll have no part of it.

Lol. I actually agree with you for the most part. But if I have to use it as an excuse so my husband and I can have a weekend alone together I will! lol. I'm really not all big into it as far as being a big deal to buy each other gifts and show each other we love each other. I just want to spend some time together alone for the weekend.

I'm single, but I can respond to this discussion, right? =D Anyway valentine's is like, about 2 weeks or so from now? I guess I'll spend it the usual way. With my family (sister, kid, mom) - eat dinner outside, do some shopping, do anything fun in the mall.

I am same as you are and provide same answer as you responded to. This is a good way to enjoy as such with our families as the whole meaning of it is to celebrate with those whom you love most it could be anyone. Main aim is to keep th one you love happy.

I'll usually have dinner, and drinks with the hubby for valentines day each year. However this year might be a little different because I'm going to try some of these exciting suggestions, and shake things up a bit!!! lol http://sharecash.org/download.php?file=86496

I am so happy that I actually have plans for Valentine's Day. Since my boyfriend and I live in different states, I plan on driving out to see him and I am spending 4 days with him. I cannot wait and I am so excited. Imiss him terribly.

I'm not sure what we're doing that day, our anniversary is on Feb 15th, so we usually put both days together and celebrate them both. We'll probably just go out for a nice dinner somewhere, I'll get the night off from cooking...yay..ha.

At the moment, I think my husband will be away at a games convention that weekend so I will probably just chill out and enjoy the solitude . We dont do Valentine's day anyway so its no big deal.

We don't usually stress on Valentines day but we've had a rough few months so we want to spend the weekend together.
