Bottle or breast feeding

I currently have a 7 year old and a 3 months old. I have been surprised with the 3 month old, how many people have asked if I am breastfeeding. I am, but because I believe it is much better and safer. Recently there have been incidents of contaminated formula. I also breast fed my older son, but do not remember people asking me how he was fed. I was surprised recently when I took my younger won for a check up where he was found completely healthy and growing well, the doctor was glad that I was breastfeeding because he said that was best but then gave me a sample of formula, in case I needed it, since my son is so large. Where do you stand on this issue?
