Long Messages?

Is anybody besides me less likely to read something when it's super long? Like.. If I click on something and it's super long, my brain just tells me not to read it. Or...my brain doesn't want to read it. I dunno. I have bad ADHD. It could just be because of that. Does anyone else do that?

I enjoy reading and if it's on a topic that I'm interested in or feel passionately about it doesn't matter how long it is. As for discussions here I prefer the long ones and love the ones that have long responses that go with the long discussions. If it's something that I have no interest in at all it wouldn't matter if it was 2 sentences long. It wouldn't make me want to read it. Just my 2 cents worth.

Hi Trojin! Me again haha.
Like you, I also normally can't endure reading long posts. :) When I was in the school publication, our senior editors told us the secret ways of getting your long posts interesting to read.. 1. Start off with a good introduction 2. Chop your long paragraphs into shorter ones so that it will be easier on the eye.
I believe the layout is very much important because it gives a whole new impression on your thoughts. :) Of course those are only ways of making your posts catchy, but the most important thing is to have an interesting topic and good writing skills ;)
Sometimes you can add pictures to entertain the eye, but too much pictures will seem crowded. Balance is always important :) thanks and God bless you!

I always give it a chance. If it is well written I will continue, but if it doesn't flow well I won't. Typically if the message is long then the writer was passionate about the subject. So I try to read it in it's entirely.

If I see a long message, I will skim it rather than read every single word. If I see something intersting, I will stop and read more slowly.
