Do you shop online and actually buy or just browse?

A friend and I were chatting about this earlier today. She really doesn't trust the web much so she's happy to shop and find items she wants and compare prices but will go to the store to make the purchase.
If I find what I want online and I trust the site and shipping is free or very reasonable, I'll buy and have it shipped to the house. It saves me a ton of time and we recycle the boxes and all the packing materials so it's a win win for me!
How about you? Do you shop online just to look or purchase too?

I do love the FREE shipping and in many cases if the shipping is on the low side it ends up being more cost effective to get the item that way rather than driving to the store, waiting in line etc to get it. I have used the site to site shipping that Walmart and Target both offer to have items sent to my local stores just like you and it makes it so nice to just walk to customer service and pick it right up.

I do use the web to get an idea of prices, but I also do a lot of online shopping, mainly for items that aren't available in our community and for the convenience of home delivery. I feel it's safe as long as you buy from trusted sites that have a secure checkout that guards your credit card info.

I really love being able to do as you do and comparison check on prices. It really saves alot of store and drive time. I agree that if the site is a trusted site or has the BBB membership then things should go smoothly. I'm from up North so many of the items that I grew up with or really like one can't get down here in the lovely South so it's been so convenient to find them online and to my doorstep they come!
I know my UPS guy and about his kids! We gave him a Christmas gift and really love the care he takes with our deliveries! And we have a great gal from USPS that has been wonderful as well. We are both so busy that if I can save time by doing a shopping chore online and spend more time with the family, it makes me very happy! Thanks for sharing!! Be Well!

Yes, I always shop online, including clothes, shoes, mobile phone and guitar and so on. I think it's ok till now. But you have to accept that although sometimes it's cheaper online, the quality is relatively not that good. In a word, the price suits to quality. Don't expect too much. But there are still many good products in the inernet. Just don't lose heart.

I have found many great bargains online just like you! And I do tend to stick to the brands that I already know about the quality of when I buy online so I don't end up disappointed. I agree that there is a relationship between price and quality, too low a price, likely means low quality.
I also love the comparison shopping options to see what local stores have the best price on what I want to get locally. Sure beats going from store to store to check when I already know what item I really want!

Actually I tried purchasing books via Amazon using my gift certificate, but the problem is, the items I wanted to buy did not cover my place of the manufacturer's company so I wasn't able to process my purchase.
I wont buy anything online using my own money or through cash basis because it is very expensive compared to the prices in the shopping mall or department stores. There's a big difference plus we have to cover the delivery payment.

Thanks for sharing! I usually try to find sites that offer free or very reducted shipping rates. I imagine that can be alot harder if one is trying to get the items sent internationally. I know also that some countries also have an import tarriff or tax that has to be paid seperate from the shipping so you are very wise to check out the full situation before making a purchse!
