Hi there, alfian! It's a good thing that you actually are trying to improve your English, because most of my other friends who are not so good in English gave up almost immediately saying that they won't be able to improve. So, good on you..... Well, one thing you can do to improve your English is to read more material in English, such as story books, novels and newspapers. You can also try to converse more in English with some of your friends or family members; this might be a little awkward if you normally speak another language to them, but do let them know your intentions of improving your English. Finally, do participate more on myLot, because there are many myLot members who are from English speaking countries/background such as from the UK, USA, Australia etc. Just be wise to distinguish the good English from the bad one.....all the best and happy myLotting!

Good if you use this forum to improve your English. I suggest that you start reading what you like. If you like sports, you can read magazines or browse related-sport website. And listen to English news, movies more often.don`t forget to practise it, with friends or family member. If you never practice your language, you`ll soon forget. Btw why don`t you join a social language learning site like www.livemocha.com? You can make friends with people from around the world, you can do exercise and other members will review your exercise. Let me know your email address, then i`ll invite you

Hi..alfian
This is a good platform to improve our English. English is a foreign language to us. We have our own mother tongues and we can handle that very well. But nowadays English language is must for everybody. So try to read more English Newspapers and Books. Surely mylot discussions will help you a lot.
